Youth Intern Program

So you are a high school student looking for volunteer hours, letters of references for jobs and college application community service items.  What if you could get all of your needs met in one spot?  Well, if you are at least 13 years old and in school, (including College) You can.   Through as little as 2 hours a week you can take part in our Youth intern program.  This unpaid position will meet most guild lines for scholarship applications as well as get you letters of reference.  As well as allow you to apply for our small scholarship available to High School Seniors. 

"What do you have to do?"  Well, that is simple.  Download the form on this page and return it to the Farm.  If there are more applicants then spots you will be required to take an interview.
Thing you will learn and be expected to do include but are not limited to the following:
Clean Stalls
Clean waters
Help Vaccinate and work animals
Build enclosures
wash and prep wool
dye yarn
assist with milking
gather eggs
exercise animals
bath animals
Help with Children's Program
Guiding Farm Visits
