Things we use for all livestock:

If an animal is having issues due to scours put bubbles of saline solution under their skin to keep them hydrated.  When they quit absorbing it quit giving it.  This is make shift IV Fluids.

Goats:

Treat Bloat with a mixture of 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 Tbsp. of Baking soda.

Treat Bloat by syringing about 30 cc of Dr.Pepper into the goats mouth.

Calves:

For a new born calf that is not looking well, crush 1 old fashion asprin into a raw egg and put it down their throat.

If a calf is week and you aren't sure what is going on give a shot of thymin and look at their gum or eyelid color.  If it is pink give a steroid if it is white give a shot of antibiotic.
